  • ~ Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis)

    Australian. From a farming family that grows their plants without irrigation and only uses natural fertilisers (The Jojoba is environmentally friendly and 100% organic).

    Jojoba is one of the most hypoallergenic skin moisturisers available. Its similarity to sebum allows jojoba to penetrate and moisturise the skin’s deeper layers while allowing the pores of the skin to function normally. Jojoba is a plant wax. Technically, it is a mixture of single long chain linear wax esters. It is very different from plant triglyceride oils which have three shorter carbon chains joined together. The wax esters slip over each other easily giving the jojoba a silky feel compared to the oily feel of the cosmetic oils.

The Wild Beauty adornment oil was created by Grace from her communion with the Wild other, of Nature. Grace has been communing with the elementals since a child growing up of her Family Farm of the East of Lutruwita ~ From this communion she developed a respect for the natural gift of the wild that inspires expansion, heals and anchors us into our evolving truth. Grace created the oil in 2020 and has been journeying with the sensuous blend and its healing properties since, and continues to do so.
